Bookish Mondays: August 2015 Owlcrate

Here is the awesome mystery Owlcrate for the month of August 🙂When I first opened the box, I was greeted with the usual spoiler card.  *If you are receiving your very own box, DO NOT LOOK AT THIS CARD!* You will be spoiled.

The first item I saw was this small box covered with cute wasabi tape.

I opened it up to find an awesome handmade pendant key chain with a Nancy Drew quote taken straight from one of the books in the series.  Made by By The Book Boutique and Forever Always Designs.  Throughout all of the boxes OwlCrate sent out, there were two different styles that could show up in the box.  I am not too sure what the other design was, but I really loved the one I received!

The next item in the mystery box was a small packet of what appeared to be stickers.  Once I got a closer look, I noticed that they weren’t just stickers but nail stickers to perk up any manicure! These nail decals were made exclusively by Inspired Nails for this box.

To add to the Sherlock theme, I saw a small notebook with the silhouette of the man himself.  This fun, handy notebook was created by The Unemployed Philosopher’s Guild.  You can jot down all of your clues with this lil’ guy!

The final bookish item included was this custom print from Shaileyann Designs featuring the saying, “Sometimes you have to lie, but to our self you must always tell the truth” -Harriet the Spy, Louise Fitzhugh.

and finally for the drum roll….

The book chosen for this month is Trouble is a Friend of Mine by Stephanie Tromly.  This book is said to be a hilarious mystery story that you will not want to miss!

Along with the book came two exclusive swag picks from the book: a bookmark and pin!

I really liked this mystery-themed box!  I am a fan of Sherlock bookish items, and I plan on using every single one of these items.  Great picks again OwlCrate!

Stay tuned for September’s Owlcrate box coming soon!

Happy Reading,
