I don’t know about you, but me and my sister are constantly butting heads. We are always in some sort of sibling rivalry whether it is over something as pointless as “shotgun” or competing over who is better than the other. So, when I saw the description of this book, I knew I would be able to relate to it.
No Such Person by Caroline B. Cooney is a story of two sisters who are also in constant rivalry. Set in a town off the Connecticut River, we follow them as they spend the summer at their cottage. Miranda is younger and the one who seems to get by in life, while Lander tries to do her best to earn what she wants. As Lander dreams of medical school, Miranda is stuck in her sister’s shadow. But when they land themselves at their vacation home, a tragic situation takes place leaving the girls on an equal ground. This new, young adult thriller is bound to keep you on your toes.
Caroline B. Cooney is also the author of the famous novel, The Face on the Milk Carton.
