Hey everyone! I can happily say that I am back to my normal blogging schedule. Thankfully the problem with my laptop was a harddrive issue and not a virus, so it was fixed within two days. Yay to the tech guys!! 🙂
Back on schedule, here is this week’s awesome TBR Wednesday pick!
Because You’ll Never Meet Me by Leah Thomas is a story about two best friends that can never meet. Why?? Ollie is allergic to electricity, and Moritz has an electronic pacemaker for his heart. If the two were to meet, Ollie would seize or Moritz would have to remove the pacemaker that is keeping him alive. Stuck far away from each other, these two boys have to rely on the communication done through each other’s letters. They both help each other through the everyday struggles that they face: Ollie has lost his only best friend to the high school life, and Moritz has to deal with a bully.
From the sound of this debut book from Leah Thomas, the storyline sounds captivating, hopeful, and powerful. I cannot wait for this to be released next Tuesday!
