Princess Marie-Victoria and Aelwyn Myrddn, a powerful magician, grew up together in the most powerful, Franco-British Empire.  Time is running out for the Princess.  Marie needs to marry and produce an heir before her life runs out.  But, she is stuck between the soldier Gill, the one she loves, and the Prince to the Prussian throne.  Marie and Aelwyn come up with a plan that will allow Aelwyn a chance at the throne and Marie to escape with Gill.  But can either of them trust anyone when the hunger for the throne is strong throughout the Empire?…

I have heard from many people in the Book Blogging Community that this book is one to look forward to.  And can we talk about the beautiful cover?!?  This looks like a book that will be on my TBR pile very soon!
